Description

In this class, you will explore imaginary worlds and explain why fantasy stories connect to real life. You’ll share opinions, tell short stories, and react naturally to other people’s ideas.

Session Activities

1: Did you enjoy fantasy stories when you were younger? Why or why not?

2: Do you prefer fantasy movies, books, or video games? Why?

3: What’s the first fantasy world that comes to your mind?

1: If you could live in a fantasy world, what kind of world would it be? Peaceful? Dangerous? Magical?

2: What kind of character would you be — a hero, a villain, a magical creature, or just a normal person? Why?

3: Have you ever felt that a fantasy story helped you deal with real-life problems? How?

4: Why do you think people are drawn to stories about dragons, magic, or supernatural powers?

5: Do you think fantasy is just entertainment, or can it teach important life lessons?

6: Many cultures have legends and myths. What traditional myths exist in your country?
